Equip Disciples is currently invested in missions in 5 countries (see
below). We periodically sponsor short term mission trips to each of
these points of mission involvement.

Rwanda- June 16-18, 2010
Equip Disciples partners with the Methodist Episcopal church and
the Association of Evangelical Churches of Rwanda to help bring theological leadership
training conferences to pastors of all denominations in Kigali.
We also provide Bibles in the Kinyarwanda language and discipleship
materials. Right now, there is a great shortage of Bibles in
Rwanda, and many pastors and church leaders do not have them.

DR Congo- June 20-22, 2010
Equip Disciples partners with Beyond the Bridge Ministries
and local Baptists, to help bring theological leadership training
conferences to indigenous church leaders in the war-torn and
volatile eastern region of North Kivu, DR Congo. We also support 14
former youth soldiers who have come to know Jesus Christ through our
summer youth camp. Currently we are planning to start a Christmas
card business for them and also a self-sustaining business. This
summer we will be leading a Bible study for the youth who have come
to know Jesus, and training them in business skills.

Kenya- June 24-July 3,
2010
Equip Disciples partners with a fellowship of pastors of local
evangelical churches, Kenyan Bible Translators; local pastors; and
Kenyan Baptists, to help bring theological leadership
training conferences to indigenous church leaders, many of whom have
no formal Bible training. This year we will be leading three
conferences in various locations throughout the country. We are also able to distribute study
Bibles and discipleship resources to them for their use.

Costa Rica-TBA
Equip Disciples partners with River of God Ministries and Bible
Translators, Timothy, Philip, and David Jones, to help bring
theological leadership training conferences to indigenous church
leaders among the Cabecar Indians. Shaman of this tribe use to
use their shamans stick with pictures on it to teach their cosmology
and mythology. Now, they are learning the theological drawings from
our textbook to learn about the Christian faith. It is catching on
among adults and children alike.
